Final Selection Day at Kaspi Technopark is more than just another stage in the application process—it’s a transformative experience for Georgian students aspiring to join one of the 18 UWC colleges worldwide. 

The day is filled with challenges, collaboration, and self-reflection, as finalists engage in group and individual activities designed to test their values, critical thinking, and ability to thrive in a diverse international environment. But beyond the evaluations, it’s also a day of personal growth, new friendships, and unforgettable moments.

It was truly a wonderful day for me. I was feeling free and excited the whole time, when I arrived I was extremely nervous but the atmosphere around me was so friendly that it made me freely express myself, there is nothing to be nervous about, just believe that this day will bring out the best in you.

The final day of selection was an unforgettable day filled with wonderful experiences and inspiring individuals. I was overwhelmed with nervousness, as if I were stepping into a new chapter of a dream I hold dear. Yet, despite the challenges I faced, they felt like minor hurdles in comparison to the warmth and positivity radiating from those around me. The mentors who guided us and the fellow candidates I met truly felt like kindred spirits, making the entire experience feel like a gathering of friends, even if we were all strangers at first. Looking back, my time at UWC has been a deeply meaningful journey of self-discovery, one that I will cherish forever. I genuinely hope that all the intelligent, curious, and hardworking individuals who follow this path find as much joy and growth as I did, and I wish all the best to the new participants, because this is the very point from which the path to the great future begins.

The UWC selection process, from the application to the Final Selection Day, was one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had. Even if you don’t end up winning, the journey itself is so special, it’s full of moments that help you grow, challenge yourself, and connect with amazing people who share your values. It’s not just about the outcome, it’s about everything you learn along the way. On the finals, I was so captivated by each participant that I deeply wished I could spend more time with them. To future applicants: don’t focus only on the result— focus on experience!

The Final Selection Day was one of my favourite days. I felt both proud of myself and a bit worried, but the excellent, super-friendly assessors and the best volunteers made the day even more memorable. On that day other participants were not opponents but teammates, all working toward the same goal of a better future. My advice to future applicants is not to worry. You will be welcomed by amazing volunteers, and stay connected with other participants. Also, icebreakers were great.

First off, I just have to say how incredibly grateful I am for the whole UWC selection process. Even though I couldn’t be at the finals in person, the UWC Georgia team was so amazing and made sure I could still be a part of it all. Their kindness honestly made me feel like I was really cared for, and that meant a lot.

The whole process didn’t feel intimidating at all—it was super welcoming and comfortable. I felt inspired the whole time, like I could totally be myself. If you're still hesitant about applying, I'd say you should definitely do it! UWC isn’t just an opportunity—it’s a community that believes in you and really lifts you up.
