Celebrating a Successful UWC Georgia Final Selection Day!

11 March 2025

UWC Georgia is part of the United World Colleges (UWC) global movement established in 1962, which brings together students from all over the world to foster peace, sustainability, and intercultural understanding through education. Established in 2013, UWC Georgia, as official representative of the movement, selects talented and motivated students from across the country to join this transformative experience, offering them the opportunity to study at one of the 18 UWC schools and colleges worldwide. In the past decade, we have developed an outstanding alumni community of over 50 people, who, with UWC education under their belt, have graduated from world-leading universities in various sectors of human activity, bringing change and making an impact not only in Georgia but also worldwide.

Every year UWC Georgia receives hundreds of applications from bright and aspiring change-makers who dream of making the world a better place. This year was a record-breaking one with over 500 young people expressing their interest in joining the movement. Due to the inclusive yet strongly competitive selection process, only 24 finalists from Tbilisi and 7 regions made it to the UWC Georgia’s Final Selection Day of the selection process.

This year the Final Selection Day was held at the incredible Kaspi Technopark. We are grateful for a new partnership with Georgia Innovation and Technology Agency, that made this happen. The day was filled with energy, creativity, and meaningful connections. Participants showcased their curiosity and commitment to making a positive impact in the world. It was inspiring to witness their passion and potential, reminding us of the power of education to transform lives.

We are deeply grateful to our partners for their unwavering support and commitment to empowering young minds.
